Yoga Pose of the Month- Dolphin Pose

  1. Place palms and forearms on the floor, with knees directly below your hips 
  2. Exhale and lift your knees away from the floor, lift your sitting bones towards the ceiling
  3. Firm your shoulder blades against your back, then widen them away from the spine and draw them inward towards the tailbone
  4. Hold your head between the upper arms
  5. Straighten your knees if you like, but don’t allow your upper back to round
  6. Stay in the post between 30-60 seconds
  7. Then release your knees to the floor as you exhale
