Muscle of the Month- Triceps Brachii
Our Triceps Brachii muscle is a large muscle on the back of the upper limb, this muscle is primarily responsible for extension of the elbow joint and also acts to extend the shoulder.
Exercise of the Month- Elbow Extension
1) Position yourself with a stable base to lean on with one arm
2) Begin with the opposite elbow bent at 90 degrees (with or without a weight)
3) From this position slowly extend the forearm into straight position
4) Slowly and controlled move the forearm back to starting position
Use a heavier dumbbell
