Patient Participation Group

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of volunteers who work in partnership with us at AHP Suffolk CIC to help improve the quality, accessibility, and experience of care for everyone using our services. By sharing your experiences and ideas, you can help us shape better services that meet the real needs of the people we support.

What’s Involved?

As a PPG member, you’ll:

·         Attend regular meetings (at least once every quarter)

·         Be invited to take part in other activities such as service development workshops, patient feedback panels, or focus groups (attendance at these is optional but encouraged)

·         Act as a voice for your community and fellow service users

·         Help us improve communication, accessibility, and the patient experience

We’re looking for people from a range of backgrounds and experiences, and we particularly welcome interest from underrepresented groups.

What’s the Commitment?

·         Membership is for a term of up to 2 years, with the option to renew for a second term (maximum of 4 years total)

·         A minimum commitment of quarterly meetings (these may be held in person or online using Microsoft Teams)

·         Occasional involvement in additional engagement activities

We’ll support you with everything you need to take part, including accessible meeting options, clear information, and staff contacts to help you feel informed and involved.
