Pelvic Health

The AHP Suffolk pelvic health service covers conditions including:

  • Pelvic floor dysfunctions; bladder and bowel incontinence, vaginal prolapses and pelvic pain
  • Perinatal pelvic health (pregnancy and up to 1 year postnatal)
  • Pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain, pelvic floor dysfunctions and rectus diastasis

Referral Process

For  GPs or other healthcare professionals, if you feel your patient needs to see a physiotherapist, please hand them an AHP Suffolk self-referral card and ask them to complete their details either on-line or over the phone.

For primary care referrers who would like to send a professional to professional referral: referral forms for the MSK or Perinatal Pelvic Health Service Single Point of Access can be found on DXS.
